This is a Zooburst of my Trip to Cambodia. This is along the lines of what you can present, but make sure you include a picture of your your map and with your route traveled. These pictures are my own, make sure you reference any pictures you use. Be Creative and have fun!

As a guide for your Travel around the world assignment!

This is only a guide, remember you be as creative as you like!

Was it in the city or a rural area?
Did you meet any people?
What were they wearing?
What language did they speak?
Did you pass any interesting buildings?
What was interesting about them?
Did you take a picture?
Did you pass any interesting plants or animals?
Were they native to the country?
What did they look like?
What did you eat along the way?
What did the country look like?
Were there lots of motor bikes?
Were there lots of people?

Use your imagination!

         Around the world Journey

This is an example of how to plan a route for the 'around the world run'
by putting in destinations, Google maps can give you directions, tell you how many km it is and outline the quickest route. You can also select the walk icon which will give you an approximate time that it would take to complete the journey.

It is important to remember that this unit is not about losing weight but maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We want to see calories in equal the calories out.The below graph is an example of a 9-13 year old girl with a sedentary lifestyle, she burns calories with the exercise associated with day to day living. The advised calorie intake for her lifestyle is 1,600 calories, she consumed 1,850 this is 250 calories more than allowed therefore we want to see 250 calories burnt off with exercise. This graph shows the ideal calorie balance that we hope to see in all students by the end of the unit.
